Each Year Washington Technology publishes the list of the “Fast 50”. These are the firms that are the fastest growing in the Federal IT space. This year I am proud to say that 3 of the firms on the list are our clients (however non-disclosure agreements preclude me from naming them). Below is a listing of those 50 firms on the 2017 list. It should come as no surprise that of the 50 firms 35 or 70% are GSA Schedule Holders with 9 of the top 10 holding the GSA IT70 Schedule. These results demonstrate the massive benefit a business receives by being part of the GSA Schedule System. Although these firms are all in the IT Industry GSA Schedules are available to all industries and can aid in the growth of a firm.
I also think those that think a firm cannot experience explosive growth through federal contracting is wrong. This group of firms was accounting for $188MM in federal sales in 2014 and three years later in 2017 these firm accounted for $1.1B.
